India Women have produced some of the most consistent run-scorers in T20I cricket over the past several years. Three players in particular stand out when looking at career run tallies in the format in 2026.

The 2026 Women's T20 Asia Cup has been a significant tournament for Indian women's cricket, with Smriti Mandhana producing a record-breaking performance that further extended her lead at the top of the charts. Here is a look at the three Indian women with the most T20I runs.

3. Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur is second of leading run-getters among Indian women in the shortest format. She has a T20I tally of 4,249 runs. India's captain has been a fixture in the side for well over a decade and reached a notable milestone during the 2026 Women's T20 Asia Cup when she played her 150th T20I match as captain. Earlier, during the Sri Lanka women's tour of India in December 2025, Harmanpreet had played her 350th international match across all formats, underlining the scale of her contribution to Indian women's cricket.

Looking at 2026, the experienced Indian batter has aggregated 465 runs in 17 innings at an average of 38.75 and a strike rate of 128.09. She has three half-centuries to her name.

2. Shafali Verma

An aggressive top-order batter, Shafali Verma has been a key part of India's T20I setup and has accumulated her runs at a rapid pace since making her international debut. Her ability to score quickly at the top of the order has made her a vital component of India's batting unit in the shortest format.

This year, Shafali has managed to score 543 runs in 19 T20I innings at an average of 28.57 and a strike rate of 151.67. The 22-year-old has notched up five half-centuries.

1. Smriti Mandhana

Smriti Mandhana is the highest run-scorer among Indian women in the format and second overall globally. Her 2026 Women's T20 Asia Cup campaign underlined exactly why she holds that position. Against Hong Kong, Mandhana struck 124 off 64 balls, the highest individual score in Women's T20 Asia Cup history and the highest score by an Indian women's batter in T20I cricket, surpassing her own previous best of 112 against England in 2025.
