Shafali Verma, the 22-year-old India opener, is the second-highest run-getter in the group stage with 104 runs from 3 innings at an average of 34.67. The right-hand batter scored at a strike rate of 176.28, underlining her aggressive approach at the top of the order.

Her highest score in the tournament was 64 off 36 balls, which came against Thailand. Shafali's ability to score quickly has been a key asset for India in the powerplay overs throughout the group stage.
